NOTFUNNY, created by Joscha Sauer, is the English version of NICHTLUSTIG, one of the most popular German cartoon sites.

That would be me, the cartoonist behind NOTFUNNY (1978 vintage). In 2000 I began drawing cartoons about lemmings, yeti's and dinosaurs, among many other unique characters; which were then published to the internet.  
Meanwhile, I released several German books (NICHTLUSTIG), as wells as an English book with Carlsen, a German publishing company.
These publications are also released in Spanish, Italian and Russian.

Yes. As long as the cartoons are reserved for personal use and not being released to the general public (such as being published in a newspaper/internet page) and no one is earning money with it.
Therefore you can save the cartoons on your computer, send them to friends, print them out or wallpaper your bathroom with it.

NICHTLUSTIG survived the first three years with the help of my parents. There were times when my earnings were less than the cost of a cartoon or an internet page.  Once, all I had to eat was a box of cornflakes, which I made last a week.
Since I'm signed under Carlsen and NICHTLUSTIG has now come to life, my work life is fuller now.  And so is my fridge.
